The name of this casting is a faux-portmanteau, if there is such a thing. Actually, its mere existence makes that a thing! The first part abbreviates the word "triceratops," so that qualifies as the real thing. But actual portmanteaus don't have hyphens within them. And "truck" is a complete word, not the back half of a longer word. But its fierceness is anything but faux!
